In which the Mister and our special guest, Zach, join me in reviewing BRIMSTONE (2016), currently available on tubitv.com but also other platforms.  Written and directed by Martin Koolhoven, the film follows Joanna/Liz (sublimely played by Emilia Jones and Dakota Fanning) a young girl tormented by her father (an incredible performance by Guy Pearce), a twisted man who hides behind his façade as a Reverend who exacts awful retribution on anyone who crosses him.  The film is lush and beautiful and juxtaposes the awful undercurrent of the story and propel this film to a definite must watch.  The film has a run time of 2 h 28 m and is rated R. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
