In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE (2024), from writers Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the film is directed by Shawn Levy. The long awaited third installment in the Deadpool franchise finds Deadpool/Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) on a mission to save his corner of the multiverse from destruction, but he needs the help of a reluctant Wolverine (Hugh Jackman reprising his role) to get it done. A cornucopia of cameos are littered throughout, has callbacks to the LOKI Disney+ show and leans heavily into the violence, more so than in any previous Marvel property. The film clocks in at 2 h and 8 m, is rated R and is currently still playing in theaters. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
