In which Kid 1 and eventually the Mister join me in reviewing ENTERGALACTIC (2022) which is still available on Netflix. From writers Kid Cudi, Kenya Barris and Ian Edelman, with voice work from Kid Cudi, Jessica Williams, Laura Harrier,Ty Dolla $ign, Timothée Chalamet, among others and is directed by Fletcher Moules. The film follows Jabari (Kid Cudi) and Meadow (Jessica Williams) who are neighbors in the same apartment building. They meet and over the course of days and weeks form a bond. His ex and her insecurities throw a wrench on their budding relationship and as they do the work of building a relationship, you see how they do the work of making it work. A solid script, great voice performances and an excellent soundtrack make this a fun watch and not to be missed but with the caveat that even though its animated its NOT for younger viewers. The film clocks in at 1 h 33 m and is rated TV-MA. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
