In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing PAPRIKA (2006), from writers Yasutaka Tsutsui, Seishi Minakami and Satoshi Kon, the film is directed by Satoshi Kon. A young scientist, Chiba Atsuko, and her alter ego, Paprika (voiced by Megumi Hayashibara), must try to solve a mystery when the world of dreams becomes deadly after an experimental technology that allows users to share dreams is stolen. The film clocks in at 1 h and 30 m, is rated R and is available on YouTube movies or to buy/rent on Prime Video. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
