In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing PIXELS (2015), which we watched on AMC (being rebroadcast on Aug 31 @ 11pm) but also for rent on Amazon Prime. A kids film directed by Chris Columbus with writing credits to Tim Herlihy and Timothy Dowling from a short film by Patrick Jean, the film follows the story of Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), Will Cooper (Kevin James) and Ludlow Lamonsoff (Josh Gad), childhood friends who reunite to defend the Earth from an alien invasion by classic 80's video game characters. The film is rated PG-13 and the run time is 1 h 45 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
