In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing RICH IN LOVE (2020) which we caught on Netflix. Directed by Bruno Garotti, Jessica Blue and Anita Barbosa from a script by Bruno Garotti and Sylvio Gonçalves; the film follows Teto (Danilo Mesquita), a very spoiled rich kid who's had a charmed life and everything handed to him without much effort. That all changes when he meets Paula (Giovanna Lancellotti), a laser focused young woman who's in a pre-med program with aspirations of being a force for good in the world. When she rebuffs him, he sets out to prove to her he's worth a shot but a little lie soon spirals out of control. The film clocks in at 1 h and 44 m and is rated TV-14.
