In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY (2021), currently streaming on HBO Max and in cinemas now. Directed by Malcolm D. Lee with a script attributed to Juel Taylor, Tony Rettenmaier, Keenan Coogler , Terence Nance, Jesse Gordon and Celeste Ballard; the film follows a wayward algorithm (Don Cheadle) who kidnaps LeBron James' (yes that LeBron James) son (Cedric Joe) and LeBron must work with the Looney Tunes gang to save his son, restore order and learn something along the way. The film really excels at showcasing its IP towards the end of the film and this will be a treat for super little kids who will be enthralled by it. The film is rated PG and the run time clocks in at 1 h 55 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
