In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing THE CREATOR (2023), which you can find for streaming on Hulu. Directed by Gareth Edwards, from a script by Gareth Edwards and Chris Weitz, the film follows Joshua (John David Washington), a secret agent who's been asked to infiltrate a group in New Asia in order to find The Creator. His mission is compromised and he tries to salvage things but in an instant loses his wife and unborn child. Years later he finds himself pulled back into the human and robot AI wars when he's brought intelligence that shows his wife is still very much alive and to get to her, he will have to join this new mission with the objective of destroying The Creator's secret weapon. This film clocks in at 2 h and 13 m and is rated PG-13. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
