In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing THE HOUSE (2022), currently streaming on Netflix. The film, told in three parts but focusing around a house is directed by Emma De Swaef and Marc James Roels (segment "I: And Heard Within a Lie Is Spun"); Niki Lindroth von Bahr (segment "II: Then Lost Is Truth That Can't Be Won") and Paloma Baeza (segment "III: Listen Again and Seek the Sun"). Screenplay credit goes to Enda Walsh and story credit is attributed to Johannes Nyholm. Each story is delightfully creepy and the stop motion animation is beautiful. This will not be for everyone but we definitely think it's worth a watch so check it out. The film has a run time of 1 h 37 m and is rated TV-MA. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
