In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing WISH DRAGON (2021), currently streaming on Netflix. Written and directed by Chris Appelhans with additional writing credit to Xiaocao Liu, the film tells the story of Din (Jimmy Wong) a young man who pines for his friend Lina (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) in spite of the years that have passed. Din comes upon a dragon in a teapot (John Cho) who grants wishes. From here, the film goes on a magical ride and heartwarming end - it's a MUST watch. The film is rated PG and the run time clocks in at 1 h 38 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
