Description

Kyle is one of the first horror writers I met in the online horror community. After appearing in horror anthology Carnage: Extreme Horror together, we have remained firm friends and supporters of each other’s work. The author of one of my favorite horror books: Devil’s Day, Kyle’s work is often undeniably violent, but the violence portrayed on the page is only part of the cocktail that elicits raw emotional reactions from his readers.
We talk about the limits of the extremes of horror, the role of politics within art, Kyle’s own journey as a writer and the ways in which authors can get in their own way.
