WHAT A WOMAN! This week's episode is yet another new career/industry we have not yet had on the podcast and I am so excited for you to listen! Niamh tells her story of hard work, determination, and finding self-love on her journey from working for the Enniscorthy Echo in Wexford to Deputy Editor of VIP mag! We discuss in a generation of snowflakes (sorry guys its true for some of you) that sometimes you have got to do the jobs you don't want to do and you have to GRAFT to get to where you want to be but also of the importance of what that journey teach's you along the way! Niamh gives use such a great insight into what journalism is all about the difference between covering hard news to now covering beauty!

We discuss the ins and outs of creating a magazine and how it has survived and is thriving through the Pandemic. We chat about Megan and Harry (of course), HM's new optimistic collection, beauty products, and the difference in media in the UK compared to Ireland!

Niamh speaks of her past relationships and how she was trapped for some time in an emotionally draining and abusive relationship and how she had to do a lot of work on herself to find her confidence again! In a time where women feel unsafe and lack security in men I think it's important we empower women to share their experiences so others are inspired to take action as Niamh did, even if it's just to simply leave! (not always that simple) Niamh has an excellent blog where you can find @ niamhdevereux.com and on Instagram @niamh_devereux
