I realize generations differ, but how can we all not embrace "sunshine pop?" The music gave a background to life in the late 1960s, when frankly the macro news wasn't very good. Not with war, racial strife and other problems, but young people are uniquely resilient. So they found joy in the "sunshine pop" genre of music. I love it greatly.
