Jesus's Spirit also known as the Holy Spirit indwells every born again child of God. The Spirit of Christ, indwells in us as a seal of we being God's children & born again, as a helper, comforter, He additionally leads us, guides, strenghtens, teaches, reveals, witnesses to us. He's also the One who convicts us of sins or wrongs, unveils all truths & mysteries etc.
The Spirit of Christ also comes upon us for special works, gifts, offices, to power us, grace us for special services & positions, administrations, divine assignments etc. It is important that we all get born again & faithfully stay in Christ as well as being baptized in the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Christ enables us to born in the imagery of Christ in fullness, glory & power, blessings, ability etc for a glorious, blessed, joyous, abundance, winnings, peacefulness, to be well resourced & dominate in this life victoriously. You cannot do away with the Holy Spirit because, He's a perfect gentleman & always available to them who knows Him, have relationship or depend on Him. Also, available to all who asks & calls for His help or assistance.
