Jesus And The Bronze Serpent
Moses and Jesus Part 16
You can clearly see that Jesus himself referenced the Bronze Serpent in
Moses story as a picture and a type of himself and what he was going to
do on the cross.
You know that the venom of the serpents killed many of the people of
Israel but when they looked upon the pole, the wood pole and the serpent
made of bronze, they were miraculously healed.
Jesus used "Typology" to illustrate that was a picture of himself
because he became sin who knew no sin. The bronze represents judgement
and the serpent represented sin.
Jesus took that judgement for you and me.
