This podcast features Special Guest Panelists Dr. Patricia Nunley (Assistant Professor of Child Development and Family Studies at City College of Francisco), Dr. NNeka Harrison (Co-Founder of LIFTT Inc. and Professor of Educational Leadership in the Mills College School of Education), and Dr. Chris Harrison (Co-Founder of LIFTT Inc.) as they share information and resources with African-American families who are striving to ensure the academic readiness and success of their children while balancing life in these changing and uncertain times.  This is a strategic community conversation centered on empowering children and their families to be balanced while sustaining school readiness and academic excellence.

The Special Guest Panelists participated in a Virtual Community Forum (VCF) conversation on September 12, 2020 titled,  "Stay Ready for School Virtual Community Forum" hosted by Stay Ready for School(formerly East Oakland Ready for School) and Roots Community Health Center.
