He resides as the Slater Family Endowed Chair in Ophthalmology, the Vice-Chair of Translational Research, the Chief of the Glaucoma Service, and the Co-Director of the Glaucoma Fellowship. World-renowned for his innovations and advancements in the industry, he discusses how the Kahook Dual Blade came to be from idea to staple product in excisional goniotomy. Notably, Dr. Kahook shares his advice for medical students as they go forward in their careers on how to cultivate a passion for innovation and insights on his creative process.
