Mississippi State came into Tuesday night’s game against Samford, ready to take care of business to get to LSU. That’s exactly what would happen, as the Diamond Dawgs would down Samford 10-2. Houston Harding would do well for the Bulldogs, although he did not have his best stuff. Hey, that happens; but he battled and gave us a very, solid 3 1/3 innings pitched. Bulldog’s hitting would let us know that they are primed and ready to go GET LSU!!! We discuss this LSU series coming up, and it also being the SEC OPENING WEEKEND. The Bulldogs have the ELITE PITCHING to SHUT LSU DOWN! While also Mississippi State has the hitting. Right now the Bulldog’s hitting does not show up elite right now, but there’s a lot of mystique in that. The Diamond Dawgs have sizzled a lot of hard outs for most of season, those are things that will not show up in stat column. I say all that to say this;the Bulldog’s hitting could take off at any moment, as we have seen flashes of how quickly STATE can strike!!
