California Senate Bill 419 by July of 2020, bans all public and charter schools from suspending students whose behavior falls under "Willful Defiance" until 2025 if not extended. It now allows students to swear and insult their teachers, not their school work, not to follow directions and not to pay attention with no consequence. So what is school for then? Maybe some children are just not meant for school because they learn in a different way. How about those children that want to do well in school. Who advocates for them?
