Many types of therapy focus purely on insight, and many focus more on action. Action tends to be the more effective form of therapy, but as a famous Mexican said, “Why not both?”
Seated meditation can be similar. We might receive some kind of insight during meditation - even something simple as a feeling of peace or relaxation. Yet when we continue with our regular life, we might forget to practice and integrate that insight.
At any moment in our days, we are free to find a moment of peace, similar to those we found during seated meditation, making it a part of our lives, and feeling good.
