Sometimes when we’re working on a problem, we can become fixed in a particular way of seeing things. We might be so stuck in that form of thinking, that we might not even realize there is a difference between the facts and our perspective.
This is part of the reason traveling is so valuable. It allows us to encounter a certain amount of chaos, and share the perspectives of others. Soon we see our lives in a new light, and what seemed like problems might no longer be.
We might not be able to travel every day or every month, but many of us are in a position to take a walk outside, to notice our surroundings, be present with the environment, and expose ourselves to the small amount of illuminating chaos that exists in our neighborhoods.
