On the first Thanksgiving the Natives broke bread with the Pilgrims. The land was plentiful so it was more than enough to share. The Pilgrims only had liquor, blankets and a religious book they lived by. It is said that after dinner the Pilgrims encouraged the Natives to close their eyes and pray with them. When the natives opened they’re eyes they were covered in small pox blankets with liquor in one hand and a bible in another. As for the Pilgrim’s…they “inherited” a mysterious place they called America that looked eerily similar to the land inhabited by the Natives prior to them closing their eyes to pray.
