When Jennifer and I started talking about her book series, a dystopian sci-fi horror romance, we were both surprised with how similar our books are. My dystopian, Toxic had a different reason for why the world turned dystopian, to Jennifer's, and there are no monsters or Buku in my story. But there is a huge part of the plot that is very similar. And if you ever watched Love and Monsters, Jennifer's book is again, similar to the movie.
It makes me wonder, with the millions of books out there. Is it possible to come up with a unique story that has never been told before, or as Jennifer says in the interview, maybe this is the normal way most writers think of in concern to the dystopian plot?
It was a pleasure chatting with Jennifer Anderson. Her books sound so exciting and her covers are amazing.
