The Messiah's kingdom is eternal, and while it may have been prophesied thousands of years ago and fulfilled in Jesus 2000 years ago, his kingdom is fulfilled in us today. This isn't some distant dream or something we hope may come someday, but a place where we get to invite people in today. Where the poor and marginalized are welcomed, regardless of status or stature. This is a kingdom of hope. This is a place where the light breaks through the darkness. Isn't it cool to think that the light of his kingdom breaks into this world through us!?
