In Paul’s world, adoption meant a new family name and secure inheritance; in God’s family it means freedom from fear. The Spirit Himself whispers “Abba” to our hearts, silencing the old orphan reflexes of performing, hiding, and comparing. Today is identity before activity: receive the Father’s welcome, declare who you are in Christ, and live like secure family who can boldly love and invite others to the table.
