Welcome to the Summer of the Sermon! Each Sunday through the summer we are going to go through and dig in to the Sermon on the Mount and discover what exactly Jesus wants from us.
God’s desire for us is to be transformed. To be different from the rest of the world. It reminds me of the little girl who asked her mother, “If God is bigger than us and he lives in us, wouldn’t he show through?” In the beginning, God created us in His image. It is his desire that we are like him. We know that sin has distorted that image, but we are in the pursuit of restoring that image through holiness.
