Jesus said "do not resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also; if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well;…" This is the law of non-resistance; don't pay back evil for evil, don't give fir for fir. Don't react to situations and negative circumstances but respond to them the right way with the right attitude, focusing on your goal and don't get distracted by obstacles.
