Phil Denton is the Headteacher of St. Bede's Catholic High School in the north west of England.
He is also the co-author of 'The First 100 Days: Lessons in Leadership From The Football Bosses.' Phil wrote the book with former footballer, now manager of Tranmere Rovers, Micky Mellon.
To complete the book, Phil and Micky spent the last three years meeting with Premier League managers, including Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Sam Allardyce, to elucidate their leadership philosophies - particularly when starting a new role. The book then illustrates how these insights and tactics can be applied to businesses and walks of life outside of professional football.
