Man United exit the CL with a whimper - but even if they’d won through would the W justify the lack of verve and passion. Should we be offensive unless forced to be defensive - like v Man City or Roberto Duran in boxing? Do wins in life count irrespective of how they’re gained? Look at boxing and how Ws can be down to vagaries of judges opinions, so surely the process and performance is where the lessons are gained if a W is necessary as the goal. Thoughts appreciated!
