Prayer Model for Acts 2:1-4
On the day of Pentecost[a] all the believers were meeting together in one place.
PRAISE GOD
· His timing in my life is specific to His plan (certain day, time, space).
· For the Body of Christ, His Bride, of which, I am a member!
ASK GOD
· Help me trust the timing, plans, circumstances, and ways of God.
· Help me put myself in the right moments with His people & His Presence.
· Help me love the Body of Christ and find my place in it.
2 Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting.
PRAISE GOD
· For the manifest presence of God and the wind of the Spirit.
· Lord you fill my life like you filled the room that day.
ASK GOD
· Be fresh and new in my life! New experiences. New spiritual movement. New touch of the supernatural on my life.
· Fill my life with the presence of God.
3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. 4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages,[b] as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.
PRAISE GOD
· For the fire of the Holy Spirit available to all believers.
· For the Baptism in the Holy Spirit available to all believers.
· He is the one who sustains and refills my spirit.
ASK GOD
· Help me fan into the flame the fire of God in my life.
· Fill me with the Holy Spirit today. Tomorrow. Every day.
· Strengthen me through speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit enables me.
