What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Don’t they come from the evil desires at war within you?
PRAISE GOD
· You are the Great Peacemaker.
· You are the Great Victor who gives us victory over evil.
ASK GOD
· Give me victory over any evil desire within me.
· As we gain victory, bring peace in the relationships in my life.
Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure. You adulterers!
PRAISE GOD
· You love to give good gifts to your children!
· You equip me with everything I need for this life and to live for you
ASK GOD
· Help the motives of my prayer requests to be pure and Godly.
· Make the Kingdom and your purposes my number one pursuit.
Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
PRAISE GOD
· You are all powerful and destroy all your enemies.
· You are the best friend I could ever want or have.
ASK GOD
· Rid me of any friendship to the world. Help me to cruicify my flesh.
· Help us be friends. Help me know you. Hear you. Understand you.
Do you think the Scriptures have no meaning? They say God is passionate; the spirit he has placed within us should be faithful to him. And he gives grace generously. As Scriptures says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
PRAISE GOD
· Your Spirit is placed within me! You indwell my very life!
· You are full of grace to those who are humble.
ASK GOD
· Help me follow the Spirit of God within me and reject the spirit of the world.
· Pour out your grace on me abundantly and let me live within it.
