Prayer Model for James 2:14-26
14 What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?
17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
PRAISE GOD
· He is the God of LIVING FAITH!!
· He is the Great Redeemer & Saves us by our faith in Him
ASK GOD
· To activate my faith to be a dynamic, living faith
· To lead me to accomplish the calling He has on my life
18 Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
PRAISE GOD
· He has gifted me & equipped me to good deeds
· He empowers my efforts for Him to reveal my faith to the world
ASK GOD
· Anoint me, Holy Spirit, to be powerful & effective in my work
· Help me to engage & activate my faith through serving
19 You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. 20 How foolish! Can’t you seet faith without deeds is useless?
PRAISE GOD
· The demons tremble at the mention of His name!
· His power is at work within me and I have authority over darkness
ASK GOD
· Give me courage to win the spiritual battles warring around me
· Give me strength to stay in the fight, serve, and work for Him
24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone. 26 Just as the body is dead without breath, so also faith is dead without good works.
PRAISE GOD
· He is breathing new life into my spirit, my body, my soul!
· He breathes life into my service and work for His Kingdom
ASK GOD
· For FRESH AIR!!
· Help me live my faith with fresh anointing and power from Him
