Description

This week on the Epoch we celebrate the triumph of unions, and mourn the tragedy of capitalism's greed. As Starbucks in Buffalo, and now Boston, began to unionize, Amazon forced employees to work during a tornado leading to factory collapse and the death of several workers in Kentucky. Locally, As Wu's pilot programs began to show promise, the MBTA cut's service, almost in an effort to sabotage the pilot. Charlie Baker issues free COVID tests for Mass residents, but there is no vaccine mandate in the city of Boston. It's a land of contradictions, America. Also, Scott discusses the controversary around Licorice Pizza and reminds us that depiction is not endorsement. Finally, in YCMTSU, Chava explores the world of competitive Camel beauty contests, and the corruption therein. Thank you for listening. Please enjoy.
