This week we saw a taste of how depraved and disturbed this administration is when it comes to its immigration policy, namely its recently-rescinded family separation procedures and still-active tent city concentration camps. We’ll put this in some context and see what our politicians and pundits had to say about these atrocities. To lighten things up, we’re spending more than half of the show on pop culture this week. Well start off with a discussion of the possession horror tour de force that is Hereditary, and then move to a different sort of family horror with Netflix’s half-baked true crime documentary series The Staircase. For story time, Dan will describe how his attempt to sneak into the horrendous crime thriller Gotti, starring John Travolta, was thwarted by a Times Square disciplinarian. And of course, we’ll weigh in on what truly matters in this day and age, the great Waluigi debate.
