Film Kid Asks is the podcast by film students for aspiring filmmakers. It centres the conversation around what we want to know going into the industry by digging into the origin stories and experiences of professionals working in film.
Episode six is a conversation with Emmy-nominated writer Semi Chellas who has written and produced projects like Mad Men, Ophelia, and The Eleventh Hour. Her directorial feature debut American Woman has just come out. We talk about writing for television versus film, what she's learned working with high-level individuals, and some of the trials and joys of directing a feature, among other things.
