From the Harris County Health Dept., we welcome Dr. Sherri Onyiego. Dr. Sherri currently serves as the Interim Director for Chronic Disease Prevention in the Nutrition and Chronic Disease Division (NCDP). Dr. Onyiego is a Board Certified Family Physician with over 15 years of clinical experience in managing and treating chronic diseases as it relates to individual patient care as well as population health.  She tells us the latest on COVID-19.

Our next conversation is with the co-authors of the textbook, Black History 365, former school superintendent Dr. Walter Milton, Jr. and former NBA Washington Bullets/Wizards chaplain, Joel A. Freeman, PhD.  Black History 365 is a U. S. History textbook documenting the unique stories of Black persons, groups, and cultures in North America, beginning in Ancient Africa continuing to modern events and movements.
