The Outcome:
It can be said that the soul is sex, but sex is not the soul. In other words, these two aspects of ourselves are inextricably connected, but can't be reduced to one another. In this 3-Part series entitled “Healing the Sexual Self,” I take a deep dive into the nature of life energy itself and the spirit or soul, which are often experienced in conflict to our sexual or erotic expression, when it is this life force energy, the same substance, brought to other forms of creation that generates the very conditions in our lives—with the intent of being in pleasure, in joy—not just sometimes, but all of the time—as that part of us returning to our own unique wholeness—what I call "integrative healing." And it can’t be done without making amends with ourselves, for the misuse, mis-direction, mis-identification, and/or abuse of our own life energy, unknowingly and knowingly, as a result of not really inner-standing our true identity, our true origin, and nature.
In Part I, I shared about the social conditioning around sex, sex education and what can be described as the nature of the soul. And last week, in Part II, I shared about how most children are not properly energetically prepared to embody or own their own energetic essence, which results in one's own sense of safety and well-being being undermined. Without being fully plugged into our own source, we become dependent on other, projecting our disempowerment on the outside world. We have access to energy directly through our own body, as an expression of nature Herself. This is the return HOME!
