This week we are joined by Tanner Allen. The College World Series Champion, SEC Player of the Year, & College Sportswriters Collegiate Player of the Year, is a Mobile native attending UMS Wright. While at UMS he was a 2 sport athlete leading the football team at quarterback, and the baseball team at centerfield & shortstop, he played for legendary high school coach Kevin Raley. He went on to Starkville to play at Mississippi State. A famed and storied career by Allen was capped off by leading the Bulldogs to a College World Series win!
After his career at Mississippi State, Tanner was drafted by the Miami Marlins. Allen has played his first 2 seasons with the Marlins Single-A affiliate the Jupiter Hammerheads!
