Description

Today, I am joined with Jack who has Crohn's and Autism which is really rare to find, Jack is actually the first person I have found in the UK that has both like me. A great episode talks about his Crohn's Disease where he was diagnosed in December 2011 which Jack said it was not a nice Christmas present, , and talks about the stages of getting diagnosed by having a colonoscopy we talk about picolax which empties our insides when going for the procedure. Jack takes azathioprine and infliximab for his Crohn's. After we started the discussion about Crohn's we moved on to Autism, Jack was diagnosed when he was 3 years old but was later on told he was Autistic when he was 8 years old. Jack talks about what he struggles with, what needs to improve in the education of Autism and acceptance, because we say it can be tiring repeating. So we have a great a great talk about Crohn's and Autism. Jack also shares with us that he did an audio neurodiverse cast audiobook which is great called it's called "MOOJAG and the auticode secret" which was released November 2020, Jack talks about the experience on his first audio job, he said it was really fun and it was at a recording studio. Jack late last year connected Big Finnish audio's from Doctor Who and he now in their files, so we could hear Jack involved within the whoiverse. We have a great conversation about Doctor Who. Jack shares with us some other special interests of his Books and Lego making, that makes him less stressed, he showed the death star from star wars collection of books and his Cat Eric!

Thank you again Jack, we will definitely be doing more together not everyday you meet someone who has Crohn's and Autism, Like Jack said on the show you mostly have one or the other so it's rare. Jack gives so awesome advise for both Crohn's and Autism.

A truly awesome episode!
