**Special note: as is the case with many nascent podcasts, we were working out some technical issues when we first started recording. Unlike more professional podcasts, we didn't do shit about it. The first ten episodes have some comparably rough audio, but we mostly fixed that from episode 11 onwards. You won't hurt our feelings if you skip the first ten eps nearly as much as you will if you don't skip them and then bail on the entire podcast thinking they're all painful to listen to. There are no points for being a completionist, so don't be a hero.**
Let's not bury the lede here -- this episode is a doozy. Is it our best episode to date? Maybe. Is it our longest? We'd have to check the tapes, but our suspicious minds tell us it might be. And it's certainly our most distinguished.
This week, nearly everyone Ed cares about gets hoodwinked by the same con artist, a knockoff Wayne Newton starts his residency at Bella Sera, and your hosts have a few cocktails while making pod. If you think it's going to take you an eternity to listen to this damn thing, just think how long it must have taken our producer to edit it. Listen for him, would ya?
