In this week's episode we have Anil Karmel, Co-Founder and CEO of RegScale with headquarters in Tysons, Virginia! They are compliance experts with executive experience in highly regulated industries. He was born in New York City and grew up in the Chicago metro area. He loved playing with technology at a young age thanks to the exposure from his father. Anil spent 10 years of his career in Los Alamos, New Mexico which eventually led him to the Washington, DC area around 8 years ago to serve as the CTO (Chief Technology Officer) for the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Program. He found a need when he kept on running into huge amounts of paperwork they used to build and insure the systems were compliant with the standards and regulations. They knew they were many in regulated industries that needed to be compliant as well, there had to be a better way to solve the problem at scale and they found it with RegScale! Anil shares some great entrepreneurial advice with anyone looking to start a company, focus on solving a problem and making a difference!
