Will Gee is the Founder and CEO of Balti Virtual from Baltimore, Maryland! They are a software studio focused on building immersive experiences in augmented and virtual reality. They have worked with many companies such as PayPal, HBO, Marvel, Under Armour, NASA, Washington Capitals, and many others. Will grew up Baltimore County and had many interest such as building and inventing things, played water polo, ice hockey, and music. He was persistent and found a great internship at a video game company by pestering them every week until they said yes while he pursued his degree in computer science at University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He worked there for many years and eventually moving to the point of going off on his own which planted the seed for Balti Virtual which was founded in 2014. We chat about why experiential retail is important and how AR (augmented reality) can play a role in it, and the difference between AR and VR (virtual reality). Will mentions his belief in Kaizen, the Japanese term meaning "continuous improvement" and how they use at their company. He shares some great advice on what will get you to the next level.
