Dr Shain is a practitioner of Traditional East Asian Medicine, also known as Traditional Chinese Medicine. After completing a Bachelor's degree at UCONN, he moved to China for 5 years to dive deeply into Chinese language, martial arts and culture as well as the study of Chinese medicine. Since then he has attained a Master's degree and Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine as is currently engaged in undertaking an advanced diploma in TCM dermatology.
