This story is my favourite one. When I was young my Athai used to tell this with so much sound effects that we would sit glued on floor waiting for the moment when the sparrow would finally makes the monkey realise it’s folly . Especially the “ kathadikkuthu ... “ one. It still holds good with my granddaughter and thrills her. I am sure lots of Generations will pass and still it may continue to grab the minds of kids.
