In this episode Rama and lakshmana look out for Sita . They find Jatayu the eagle in a sorrowful condition. Jatayu narrates the abduction of Sita and also how it fought to get her released. Jatayu dies in the hands of Sri Rama. Then on further course of search they encounter Kabandan a rakshasa who gets killed by Rama.
