Episode 96 breaks down scapegoats. The topic of “scapegoats” is vital in order to understand what the vast majority of the righteous are going through. Many righteous people can resonate with the concept of being a scapegoat. Whether that means a scapegoat amongst your family members or amongst your friends. Oftentimes, many people feel as if there is a spotlight shined on them, but not always in a positive manner. Those who seeking righteousness know the level of accountability, responsibility, and strength it takes to continue on the narrow path of the righteous. There are so many hurdles and pitfalls set in place for us to fall off track and veer off the narrow path of the righteous. Ecclesiastes 1: [18].
Scapegoats are defined as a person or group made to bear the blame for others or to suffer in their place. A scapegoat is an event, person, or object that is used to lay the blame on for all that goes wrong, regardless of the contributions of others. This will usually carry on until the scapegoat has gone, or has managed to successfully defend itself against the arguments presented to it. The narrow path of the righteous has been a long journey for the vast majority of us. It isn’t an easy journey and oftentimes you’ll realize how alone you are in your journey in terms of family and friends. You’ll quickly notice that when you seek righteousness, you will upset many people. You will notice that at first, people will even try and persuade you out of your journey through various tactics. Many scapegoats become the target of those in their lives so that accountability and responsibility can be avoided by a person or multiple people. Amos 5: [10].
Many of us who’ve been given a spirit of discernment and the desire to learn, have always been on a mission seeking truth in all aspects of life. We’ve been unafraid to speak up about the “difficult” things that need to be said, regardless of how people respond. We’ve been unafraid to say the difficult things and stand on moral principles. Many of the righteous have had to hit rock bottom in order for them to finally look themselves in the mirror and strive for change. Genuine change comes from repentance to The Most High. Genuine change comes when you place our desires on righteousness. Genuine change comes when you seek truth through the Laws, the Statutes, and the Commandments of The Most High. We will not be able to change until we hone in on our relationship with The Most High and prove our desires towards righteousness. Psalm 1: [1-6].
People will try and do their best to convince you otherwise. Whether it’s family members, friends, strangers, etc. It doesn’t matter. I’ve begun to realize that most people hate righteousness and anyone who strives for it because it’s a constant mirror of themselves. It’s a constant reminder and an emotional trigger for the vast majority of people. Although many of us have grown up as a scapegoat or become one later in life, life doesn’t need to remain this way. There are many ways to break free of these shackles. Proverbs 27: [5].
It's up to The Most High's righteous people to warn those around them about the world's evil, wickedness, and idolatry. It’s up to The Most High's righteous people to share the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of The Most High. Ezekiel 33: [8-9].
Without the Laws, Statutes, and Commandments of The Most High, we'll only continue to be given calamity throughout our lives.
All praises to The Most High.
