Episode 79 breaks down vanity. Excessive pride in one's appearance or accomplishments. Vanity embodies empty and valueless morals all predicated on our indoctrination into this Babylonian system. Vanity has become a monster that devours its victims and sucks the life out of anyone who is consumed by it. Vanity comes in many forms such as consumerism, materialism, and pride in oneself or accomplishments. It is a vicious cycle that eventually will change a person from the inside out. Overconsumption of vanity means that there is no genuine connection to The Most High. Isaiah 48: [22].
The vast majority of people are trapped by the snares of vanity and don’t even recognize it. The vast majority of people obsess over their outer appearance, accomplishments, or even both. The vast majority of people would do away with morality to continue in the vicious cycle of vanity. The vast majority of people do not care about the drawbacks or negative effects of vanity because they haven’t taken the time to truly know themselves. Vanity creates anger, agitation, confusion, depression, sadness, stress, unhappiness, and worry. Vanity can eat you from the inside out and will suck the life out of you. Vanity can take your soul. The vast majority of the masses don’t realize how their obsession with vanity in Babylon does not bring them happiness. The vast majority of people are so unhappy with where they are in life that creating and having distractions becomes their escape from their reality. Vanity allows people to escape their reality. Ecclesiastes 2: [26].
It’s difficult for the righteous to have any type of deep conversation with the majority of people these days. All anyone seems to be able to connect about are the latest athletes and sports team updates. Or the latest celebrity gossip and updates. Or the latest entertainers and what they’re up to. We live in a world where vanity is pushed onto the masses in extreme forms. Through our internet, social media, our television, and even word of mouth. It’s as if we almost cannot escape it. Nowadays, all anyone can seemingly talk about is money, status, and wealth. No matter what age, that’s all we can talk about these days outside of the talking points they give us in Babylon. It’s all about your career, your salary, or your status. It’s all about the stock market, cryptocurrency. It’s all about your career accomplishments or entrepreneurship aspirations. People have lost their identity because of vanity. Vanity will continue to destroy the majority of the masses. Proverbs 11: [4]
It's up to The Most High's righteous saints to warn those around them about the evil, wickedness, and idolatry of the world. It’s up to The Most High's saints to share the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of The Most High - Ezekiel 33: [8-9].
Without the Laws, Statutes, and Commandments of The Most High, we'll only continue to be given calamity throughout our lives.
