"It's always worth a shot, in my book, to try something that you're not sure is going to work," says Lindsay Denninger, Copy Director at Boll & Branch. Lindsay is interviewed today by fellow copywriter and co-lab connection, Julie Chen. Lindsay grew up in Long Island, NY, and studied English and Literature at Long Island University. Upon graduation during the 2008 recession, she took small jobs to advance her marketing and copywriting skills, and ultimately went to grad school where she received a Masters of Arts at Hunter College in New York City. Lindsay has a vast career in copywriting, writing content for Bustle, and for brands like Ann Taylor, Uniqlo and One Kings Lane. She eventually jumped into the freelance world but recently made the switch back over to the brand side as Copy Director at Boll & Branch.
