Aaliya Amrin is a Video Producer and an entrepreneur. At just 23 years old she started a new age digital agency called by the gram along with two of her friends. By the gram (@by.the.gram) is based out of Bombay and services clients globally. She shares her journey from growing up in Hong Kong to being a Psychology and Consumer Behaviour graduate then moving to Bombay and eventually starting her own company. We discuss everything under the sun related to a start up including what it’s like to build a creative business from ground up with no money and out of her living room. In almost two years it grew from a team of three to a company of fifteen employees handling about fifteen live projects per month. In this episode we also talk in length about the process of executing a project from pitch to the final campaign.
