Today’s conversation is with Kellie Blair, a beef farmer and operator of Blair Farms in Dayton, Iowa. She is proud to be part of a 4th Generation family farm raising grain (corn, soybeans, small grains, and hay) and livestock (pigs and cattle). Kellie received her BS from Iowa State University in Forestry and Agronomy. She has a sincere passion for conservation and practices this on her farm everyday through soil health and water quality on her own farm, in her community, in the state of Iowa and nationally. She so graciously invited me to her farm for a candid and intimate look into farmers who truly care about their livestock, the earth and the families they feed.
